It’s 2025 and I started a blog, LOL!
Why?
I wanted to keep up some coding, curating, writing, and editing skills, and incorporating all the movies, shows, and books I get into seemed like an easy way to do that.
I love the craft of writing and trying to find the perfect word for what I mean to say has always been one of my favorite mental games.
I also love the MCU. I’m intrigued by where it’s going right now, as the filmmakers work on Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. Bringing such a huge, complex story to the screen, working around all their in-demand actors’ schedules as they film their other projects, tackling huge cosmic sets and effects–I can only imagine the excitement and the stress everyone is going through to pull this off.
I love to keep up with the rumors about these movies while I analyze and theorize over what little we do know.
I’m also a big reader, not as much as I used to be, but I still love books. My favorite genres are horror, sci-fi, wellness, and historical nonfiction.
And, I watch a lot of other stuff, too. I’m not into much reality TV, but I try to stay current with movies and I’m always working through a backlog of TV shows.
That’s pretty much the “why” behind Addictive Mints!
Oh, and the name? Have you seen Jurassic World: Rebirth yet? I put Jonathan Bailey’s mint-popping paleontologist to shame with my much bigger obsession with chomping any mints I can get my hands on throughout the day. And so, Addictive Mints it is!
